Godfré Ray King is the pseudonym for Guy W. Ballard. He was born in Newton, Kansas, in 1878 and passed away in late 1939. He met his wife Edna (Lotus Ray King) while taking harp lessons from her. They had a son who was born in 1918. To-gether, they devoted themselves to theosophy and spirituality in general.
Guy Warren Ballard, a mining engineer, met the Ascended Master Saint Germain in 1930, as he describes in his book. He then gave lectures about his experiences and his further con-tact with the Ascended Masters.
This led to the formation of a spiritual movement called the "I AM" Activity, which his wife continued after Guy's death. The "I AM" Activity still exists today. Since then, other religious or-ganizations have emerged in a similar style based on the mate-rial published by Guy Ballard.
Nach Übertragung auf eine eigene Internet-Site mit gut besuchtem Forum stellte Yogani das zusammengetragene Wissen systematisch in einzelnen Bänden bereit, die nun dem deutschsprachigen Publikum in der FYÜ (Fortgeschrittene Yoga Übungen)-Erleuchtungsreihe zur Verfügung gestellt werden.
Yogani wahrt seine Anonymität auch gegenüber seiner inzwischen beträchtlichen Zahl von engagierten Mithelfern. Doch wurde inzwischen auch einiges über ihn bekannt:
Geboren in New York wuchs er in einer christlichen Umgebung in den 1950er und 1960er Jahren auf, erhielt eine wissenschaftliche Ausbildung und verfolgte seine Karriere, heiratete und er hat Kinder. Die ganze Zeit war er auch bemüht, das von seinem christlichen Elternhaus Empfangene zu erweitern und zu vermehren. Systematisch integrierte er esoterische Methoden aus dem fernen Osten in seine Routine von täglichen spirituellen Übungen. Mehr als dreißig Jahre später, nun in Florida im Ruhestand, entschloss er sich, all sein Wissen und seine Erfahrungen niederzuschreiben, damit von der Bilanz seiner Nachforschungen andere Wahrheitssucher profitieren können
Aus einer kleinen Yahoo-Group entstand so in wenigen Jahren ein vielseitiges Webangebot, über 10 Bücher und Übersetzungen in andere Sprachen.
